Mister George Hairdressing is proud to have teamed up with an industry-specific initiative Sustainable Salons Australia. Our focus is to reduce our ecological footprint, achieve zero waste and support charitable causes through implementation of environmentally sustainable practises.

What does this mean for you?

Your cut-off hair will support charitable causes such as oil spill clean up projects, local community gardens and charitable wig making services.

All proceeds gained from recycling the metals, paper and plastic from our hairdressing salon will be donated to not for profit community based organisations that do a killer job helping humanity every day.

Originally from New Zealand, Ange has been living in Melbourne for 23 years. With well over 20 years' experience as a hairdresser, her cutting skills are amazing and she prides herself on her realistic approach to colouring – one that takes the lifestyle and needs of each client into account. Specialising in difficult hair keeps Ange interested and on her toes. Having worked in as a hairdresser in Richmond for the past 17 years, she has a great understanding of the wants and needs of local clients.

George is a very talented and ridiculously adorable 14 year old Spoodle. A fixture at our Richmond hair salon, he prides himself on personally greeting every client and keeping a close eye on how the salon is running. Expect plenty of singing, tail wagging, doggy kisses and – if you’ll let him – snuggles in the chair as you have your hair attended to.
